What sets this stay apart
4.8★ guest rating
Consistent scores across Google, TripAdvisor and MakeMyTrip over 12,000+ hosted guests.
30+ years of hospitality
A family that has been welcoming travellers to Wayanad long before it became a Google-map pin.
Small by design
A limited number of cottages keeps the pool, the dining room and the campfire genuinely uncrowded.
End-to-end trip planning
Safari, treks, temple visits, private cabs — booked, briefed and coordinated by the front desk.
How we think about being 'the best'
'Best resort in Wayanad' is a slippery phrase. Best for a family of eight is not the same as best for a honeymoon; best in monsoon is not the same as best in December. What we try to be is the most consistent — a place that returns the same quality whether you arrive on a rainy Tuesday or a Christmas eve.
That consistency comes from being small. The kitchen cooks fewer dishes better, the housekeeping team knows every cottage, and requests reach the owner in minutes, not through a chain of managers.
What guests tell us again and again
Three things show up in nearly every review — the view, the food and the feeling of being looked after without being watched. The view is a function of geography; the food is a function of a small, focused kitchen; the third is the hardest to engineer and the reason we keep the property small.
It's also why we don't chase every trend. We invest in cottage upgrades, kitchen equipment and staff training — not in features that photograph well but rarely get used.
Making a fair comparison
If you're shortlisting resorts in Wayanad, compare on the things that will actually shape your stay — location, occupancy density, staff-to-guest ratio, in-house food, and whether the property has real forest access. Photos rarely capture these; guest reviews do, if you read past the star rating.
We've written an honest shortlist of the top resorts in Wayanad — including our competitors — so you can decide with less guesswork.
Practical details for a Wayanad trip
Wayanad rewards planning around the season and the direction you arrive from. Booking a resort at the north end (Mananthavady side) is very different from booking at Vythiri or Lakkidi — driving time between them is 1.5–2 hours and the terrain changes noticeably.
